Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
2. Cook the Fish
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the fish fillets and cook for 2–3 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until golden brown and cooked through. The fish should easily flake with a fork. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Lemon Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice, letting the sauce simmer for 1 minute.
4. Combine & Serve
Return the cooked fish to the skillet and spoon the lemon butter sauce over the fillets.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon slices.
