Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes).
Drain any excess fat from the skillet and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes until the onion softens.
Season the Meat:
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Mix well to coat the beef evenly in the seasoning. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the beef is well seasoned.
Assemble the Wraps:
Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Divide the seasoned ground beef mixture evenly among the tortillas.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef and fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it up tightly.
Toast the Wraps (optional):
For an extra crispy finish, place the wraps seam-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat. Toast for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
Serve:
Slice the wraps in half and serve with your favorite toppings like sour cream, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, or guacamole.
