Sweet & Savory Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Tenders: A Flavor Explosion

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken and Bacon
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. This helps the bacon crisp up during baking.
Season the chicken tenders with garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt on both sides.
Step 2: Prepare the Bacon Wraps
Lay the bacon slices out on a cutting board. If the bacon is long, you may want to cut it in half so it can better wrap around the chicken tenders.
Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon, securing it tightly around the chicken. If needed, use toothpicks to hold the bacon in place.
Step 3: Prepare the Sweet & Savory Glaze
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Bake the Bacon-Wrapped Chicken
Place the bacon-wrapped chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. This allows the bacon to crisp up evenly.
Brush each bacon-wrapped tender with the sweet and savory glaze, making sure to coat the bacon evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through. For extra crispiness, you can broil the tenders for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: Serve
Remove the chicken tenders from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
