Sweet and Savory Honey Garlic Shrimp – A Flavorful Delight

Season the Shrimp: Lightly season the shrimp with salt and pepper.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until they turn pink. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

Combine: Pour in the honey-soy mixture and bring it to a simmer. Cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly in the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce is sticky and caramelized.

Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
