Stuffed Donuts

In a medium bowl, whisk the whole egg, egg yolks, cornstarch, and sugar together until smooth.

Add the warm milk to the mixture, stirring to combine.

Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens into a custard-like consistency. Once thickened, remove from the heat and stir in the margarine and vanilla extract until smooth.

Assemble the Donuts:

Using a piping bag, carefully fill the fried donuts with the prepared custard filling. You can insert the piping tip into the side of the donut and gently squeeze to fill it.

Sprinkle the stuffed donuts with powdered sugar for a sweet finish.
