Sticky Dry Rub Wings with Sweet Glaze: A Perfectly Crispy and Flavorful Treat

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Dry Rub:

In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, oregano, and thyme until well combined.
Coat the Wings:

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help them get crispy in the oven.
Drizzle the wings with olive oil and toss them to coat evenly. Then, sprinkle the dry rub over the wings and toss until they are fully coated.
Bake the Wings:

Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
Make the Sweet Glaze:

While the wings are baking, make the sweet glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and ground ginger.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
Glaze the Wings:

Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven. Brush the sweet glaze generously over the wings, making sure each wing is well-coated. Return the wings to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes to allow the glaze to set and caramelize slightly.
Serve and Enjoy:

Remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired, and enjoy these sticky, flavorful wings!
