Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.
Drain the pasta and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Steak:
Season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for your desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add butter, smashed garlic, and fresh thyme to the pan.
Spoon the melted butter over the steaks and remove them from the pan. Let the steaks rest for a few minutes.
3️⃣ Make the Mushroom Sauce:
In the same pan, add butter and sliced mushrooms.
Cook for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms soften.
Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Stir in beef broth and heavy cream, then simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
4️⃣ Assemble the Dish:
Plate the cooked spaghetti, then place the rested steaks on top.
Pour the creamy mushroom sauce over the steak and pasta.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
