Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the steak in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time based on your desired doneness.
Once cooked, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest while you prepare the shrimp.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the shrimp to the pan, cooking them for about 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque.
Remove the shrimp and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the 4 tablespoons of butter.
Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in any juices left from the steak and shrimp, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Combine and Serve:
Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce to coat them evenly.
Slice the steak and place it on a plate, then top with the shrimp and a generous drizzle of the garlic butter sauce.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
