Spanish Bread

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and instant dry yeast.
In a separate bowl, warm the evaporated milk and water until they are lukewarm, then add eggs, vegetable oil, and softened butter. Mix well.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing to form a dough.
Knead the dough for about 15-20 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth.
Once kneaded, form the dough into a ball and place it in an oiled bowl. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 45 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare the Filling
While the dough is rising, prepare the filling by combining butter or margarine, brown sugar, and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
Step 3: Shape the Dough
After the dough has risen, punch it down gently to remove air bubbles.
Divide the dough into portions and gently flatten each portion.
Add a spoonful of the filling onto the flattened dough, then roll it up into a log shape.
Coat the rolled dough with fine breadcrumbs and place them into a greased baking pan.
Step 4: Final Rise and Baking
Let the dough rise again in the pan for 20 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
Bake the bread for 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 5: Serve
Let the bread cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your soft, sweet, and buttery Spanish Bread!
