Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Chicken

Season and Add Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the crock pot. Arrange the diced onions and minced garlic on top of the chicken.

Add Sauces and Spices: Pour the canned roasted diced tomatoes, salsa verde, cumin, and chili powder into the crock pot. Stir everything together to combine.

Cook the Chicken: Cover and cook on High for 3.5 to 4 hours or on Low for 5 to 6 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds.

Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken into the sauce. Return the shredded chicken to the crock pot, and stir everything together. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and jalapeno slices. Serve the salsa verde chicken in tacos, over rice, or with a salad for a delicious meal.
