“Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions: A Flavorful Feast”

Marinate the Steak:
In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, sugar, and black pepper. Add the thinly sliced flank steak and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to an hour for more flavor).

Prepare the Stir-Fry:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the onions and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables start to soften and become slightly charred. Remove them from the skillet and set them aside.

Cook the Steak:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until it’s browned and cooked through.

Combine Everything:
Add the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper to the skillet with the steak. Stir well, then add the vegetables back into the pan. Toss everything together and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Serve:
Serve the sizzling pepper steak immediately with a side of steamed rice or noodles. Garnish with additional black pepper or chili flakes if desired.
