Savory Baked Chicken Legs with Potatoes: A Comforting Family Meal

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the Chicken Legs:
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

Rub this mixture evenly over the chicken legs. Make sure the chicken is well-coated in the seasoning for maximum flavor.

3. Prepare the Potatoes and Onion:
Cut the potatoes into wedges and chop the onion into large chunks.

Toss the potato wedges and onion with minced garlic, a bit more olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

4. Arrange the Dish:
Place the seasoned chicken legs on a baking sheet or in a large roasting pan.

Surround the chicken with the potato wedges and chopped onion.

5. Bake:
Roast everything in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C) and the potatoes are tender and golden brown.

If you want extra crispy skin, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.

6. Serve:
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

Serve hot with a side salad or your favorite steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
