Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.

Cook the Onions: Add the sliced onions to the skillet and sauté for about 5-6 minutes, or until they begin to soften and turn golden.

Add the Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Sauté the Mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan. Stir occasionally, cooking for about 7-10 minutes, or until the mushrooms release their moisture and become tender and slightly browned.

Season: Season with salt and pepper to taste, and continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.

Serve: Once everything is cooked through and golden brown, remove from heat and serve warm. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme if desired.
