Sautéed Beef with Vegetables and Steamed Broccoli: A Balanced and Flavorful Meal

In a bowl, mix beef strips with soy sauce and cornstarch (if using). Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Steam the Broccoli:

Place broccoli florets in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
Toss with a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil or butter, if desired. Set aside.
Cook the Beef:

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated beef and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté the carrots for 2 minutes, then add the bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 4-5 minutes until tender but still slightly crisp.
Combine:

Return the beef to the skillet. Add the oyster sauce and stir everything together until well coated. Cook for 2 more minutes to meld the flavors.
Serve:

Plate the sautéed beef and vegetables alongside the steamed broccoli. Garnish with sesame oil or seeds for added flavor.
