Salmon with Cajun Butter Sauce

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down (if the skin is on). Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Cajun Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the butter and melt.

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in the Cajun seasoning and lemon juice, allowing the sauce to simmer for an additional minute. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Serve the Salmon:

Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the Cajun butter sauce over the top.

Let the salmon soak in the sauce for a minute to absorb the flavors.

Serve & Enjoy:

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes like rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.
