In the same or another clean pan, melt 1 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 7-8 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Once done, remove the salmon and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In a new pan, melt 6 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy whipping cream and stir. Add the Prego Basil Pesto and mix well.
Slowly add the parmesan cheese, stirring continuously. The sauce will begin to thicken after 3-5 minutes. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning to taste.
Combine the Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked penne pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the noodles thoroughly with the sauce.
Sprinkle in a pinch of fresh parsley and mix again.
Assemble the Dish:
Plate the pasta, topping it with the cooked salmon fillets and shrimp.
Garnish with extra parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
