Salmon and Shrimp with Cheesy Broccoli and Corn: A Flavorful Feast

Step 1: Cook the Seafood
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Cook the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness (flaky and golden brown on the outside). Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the salmon.
Step 2: Prepare the Cheesy Broccoli Corn
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
Add the broccoli florets and corn kernels. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
Pour in the heavy cream, and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the cream thickens slightly.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Step 3: Combine and Serve
Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet with the cheesy broccoli and corn mixture. Spoon some of the sauce over the seafood.
Let everything simmer together for 2-3 minutes to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.
Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
