Salmon and Camarón, Cajun Odaces and Picantes

Season both the salmon fillets and the camarón with salt, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Rub the seasoning mixture evenly onto both the salmon and shrimp. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cook the Salmon:

Heat olive oil (or butter) in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).

Cook the Camarón:

In the same skillet, add the seasoned camarón and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking.

Serve:

Plate the salmon and camarón together. Optionally, serve with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and a few lemon wedges for a burst of citrus.
