Roasted Stuffed Dates

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dates:
Cut each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pit. Set the dates aside.

Make the Filling:
In a small bowl, combine the goat cheese (or cream cheese) with the chopped walnuts or pecans. Add a pinch of black pepper and sea salt to taste. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Stuff the Dates:
Spoon the cheese mixture into each date, filling the center generously. Press the dates gently to secure the filling.

Roast the Dates:
Place the stuffed dates on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the dates and place them in the oven. Roast for 10-12 minutes, or until the dates are warm and the filling is slightly golden.

Finish with Honey:
After removing the dates from the oven, drizzle honey over the top for added sweetness and a beautiful glossy finish.
