Ribeye Steak with French Onions & Crispy Fries

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss the potato fries with vegetable oil and salt.
Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
2. Caramelize the Onions:
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
Add the sliced onions and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle sugar over the onions to help caramelization.
Once golden and soft, stir in the balsamic vinegar and cook for another minute.
Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Cook the Ribeye Steaks:
Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil.
Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or adjust to desired doneness.
Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
4. Assemble & Serve:
Place the steaks on a plate, topping them with the caramelized onions.
Serve with crispy fries on the side.
Garnish with fresh parsley for extra flavor.
