Quick Nut and Seed Bars

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Toast the Nuts and Seeds: Spread the almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and peanuts evenly on the baking sheet. Toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are lightly golden and fragrant. Keep a close eye on them to avoid burning.

Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted nuts and seeds. Add the ground nutmeg and stir to distribute the spices evenly.

Add Honey: Drizzle the honey over the mixture and stir thoroughly until all the nuts and seeds are well-coated. The honey will help bind everything together.

Press into a Pan: Transfer the mixture into a small baking dish or a square pan lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to press the mixture down firmly, ensuring it is packed tightly.

Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours, or until the bars are firm enough to cut.

Cut and Serve: Once chilled and set, remove from the fridge and cut into squares or bars.
