Puff Pastry Sausage Bites: A Crowd-Pleasing Breakfast Delight

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Assemble the Bites:
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut into strips or squares large enough to wrap around the sausage pieces.
Place a small piece of mozzarella on the pastry, then top with a sausage. Roll or fold the pastry around the sausage and cheese, sealing the edges. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

Add Egg Wash:
Beat the egg in a small bowl. Brush each sausage bite with the egg wash to give a golden, shiny finish.

Bake:
Arrange on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each bite.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.

Cool and Serve:
Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy as is!
