In a greased baking dish, layer half of the boiled potato slices at the bottom. Top with half of the beef mixture, then repeat with the remaining potatoes and beef. Press down slightly to compact the layers.
Top with Cheese:
Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake the Casserole:
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
