Cook the Ground Beef:
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté the Vegetables:
Add the chopped onion, green peppers, and minced garlic to the beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables soften. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili flakes, black pepper, cumin, thyme, and salt. Let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes to combine the flavors.
