Pork Chops with Onion and Mushroom Gravy

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil (optional).
Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Gravy
In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion soup mix, and pork gravy mix. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the gravy thickens.
Step 3: Cook the Pork Chops in the Gravy
Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, making sure they are submerged in the gravy.
Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and tender.
Step 4: Serve
Serve the pork chops with plenty of the savory onion and mushroom gravy spooned over the top.
