Prepare the Potatoes:
In a greased baking dish, layer the thinly sliced potatoes evenly along the bottom. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Prepare the Soup Mixture:
In a medium bowl, combine the Lipton onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Stir well to combine until smooth and evenly mixed.
Layer the Pork Chops:
Place the pork chops on top of the potatoes. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the pork chops and potatoes. Make sure the pork chops are well-coated in the sauce.
Bake:
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
Finish and Serve:
Remove the foil during the last 10-15 minutes of baking to allow the top to brown slightly. Check the pork chops for doneness, and adjust the cooking time as needed.
