Philly Cheesesteak Sliders with Buttery Herb Topping

Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cook the Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and green peppers, cooking until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
Prepare the Steak: Add shaved steak to the pan, along with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking apart the steak with two forks, until no longer pink. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Sliders: Keeping the buns intact, slice them in half horizontally and place the bottom half on a baking sheet. Spread the steak mixture evenly over the bottom buns, then layer with provolone cheese. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese.
Make the Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, dried thyme, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the buns.
Bake: Transfer the sliders to the oven and bake for 17-20 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
Serve: Let cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve warm.
