Philly Cheese Steak Casserole: A Comforting Twist on a Classic

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
Sauté the Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.
Make the Cheese Sauce:

In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in the provolone cheese and Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
Combine and Assemble:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sautéed vegetables, and beef. Pour the cheese sauce over the mixture and stir to combine evenly.
Bake the Casserole:

Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish. Top with any extra cheese you have, if desired. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve:

Once the casserole is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
