Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

Add the cooked shrimp and halved cherry tomatoes to the pasta, tossing gently to combine.
Step 5: Serve
Transfer to a plate and garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese if desired.
