In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and bring it to a simmer. Return the meatballs to the sauce and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked through.
Serve:
Spoon the meatballs and sauce over the cooked penne pasta. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired.
