Penne Pasta with Meatballs

Step 1: Prepare the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.

Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and set aside.

Step 2: Brown the Meatballs
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Brown the meatballs on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).

Once browned, transfer the meatballs to a baking dish.

Step 3: Bake the Meatballs
Pour marinara sauce over the browned meatballs.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.

Step 4: Cook the Pasta
Meanwhile, cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions.

Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Step 5: Combine and Serve
Once the meatballs are cooked, toss the cooked penne pasta with the meatballs and sauce from the baking dish.

Serve hot, and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors.
