Place the peanut butter balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until they are firm enough to coat in chocolate.
Step 5: Prepare the Chocolate Coating
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
Step 6: Coat the Balls
Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat it evenly. Tap the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
Step 7: Set the Chocolate Coating
Place the chocolate-coated peanut butter balls back onto the parchment paper and refrigerate for another 30 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.
