Orange Cake: The Most Fragrant and Soft Cake

Peel the oranges, remove any seeds, and blend them (including the skin) in a blender or food processor until smooth. Set the orange puree aside.

Mix the Wet Ingredients:

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.

Add the Orange Puree:

Stir the orange puree into the wet ingredients. Add the vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.

Combine the Dry Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Bake the Cake:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake:

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve as is or dust with powdered sugar for an added touch.
