One-Pot Chicken Parmesan Pasta

Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the pot and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Broth and Sauce: Stir in the chicken broth, marinara sauce, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Cook the Pasta: Add the penne pasta to the pot, stir, and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally to ensure the pasta doesn’t stick.
Add Cheese: Once the pasta is cooked, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top. Stir gently to combine and allow the cheese to melt and become gooey.
Serve: Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve immediately.
