One Pan Harissa Chickpeas

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Sauté the Aromatics:
Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes, until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the Harissa and Spices:
Stir in the harissa paste, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the spices to bloom.

Add the Chickpeas:
Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas to the pan. Stir well to coat the chickpeas in the harissa and spices. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chickpeas are heated through and slightly crispy.

Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and freshness. Serve immediately with your favorite sides or as a filling in wraps or bowls!
