One-Pan Creamy Chicken and Broccoli: A Weeknight Savior

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Remove and set aside.
Make the Cream Sauce: Melt butter in the skillet and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Dijon mustard (if using). Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine and Finish: Return the chicken and broccoli to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and parsley for garnish.
Serve warm with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
