One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles: Perfect for Busy Nights!

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes.

Cook the Noodles:
Add the egg noodles to the skillet with the broth. Stir to combine, making sure the noodles are submerged in the liquid. Cover the skillet and cook for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

Finish the Dish:
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and butter. Let the butter melt, and then add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve:
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the noodles. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
