Oat, Cocoa, and Banana Bake

In a mixing bowl, add the rolled oats and hot milk. Stir to combine, and leave to soak for 10 minutes.

2. Prepare the Banana Mixture:

In a separate bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Add the eggs (or egg substitute), cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix everything together until well combined.

3. Combine:

After the oats have soaked, add them to the banana mixture. Stir in the nuts if you’re using them. Mix until fully combined.

4. Bake:

Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F).

Pour the mixture into a greased or lined baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Serve:

Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy it warm or at room temperature as a wholesome dessert or breakfast.
