Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding: A Rich, Creamy Dessert with a Twist

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, cold milk, and vanilla pudding mix until smooth and well combined.
Let the pudding sit for about 5 minutes to thicken. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 2: Layer the Dessert
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the bottom with a layer of vanilla wafer cookies.
Spread half of the pudding mixture over the cookies, smoothing it out with a spatula.
Add a layer of sliced bananas on top of the pudding.
Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies, pudding, and bananas.
Step 3: Make the Whipped Cream Topping
In a chilled mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Spread the whipped cream over the top of the pudding, covering it evenly.
Step 4: Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the banana pudding for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set.
Serve chilled and enjoy the creamy, irresistible layers!
