Non-Guilty Zero-Fat Biscuits: A Healthy Treat

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and any optional spices like cinnamon or nutmeg.
Step 3: Combine the Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Step 4: Make the Dough

Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Step 5: Shape the Biscuits

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Use a round cutter or the rim of a glass to cut out biscuit shapes. Transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6: Bake

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
