No-Oven Garlic Bread

In a small bowl, combine the yeast and sugar with lukewarm milk. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.

Prepare the Dough:

In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and salt.

Add the activated yeast mixture and melted butter to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and allow it to rest for 30 minutes, letting it rise and double in size.

Cook the Garlic Bread:

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into small portions (about 4-6 pieces).

Roll each portion into a ball and flatten it into a disc.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Cook each disc in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Make Garlic Butter:

While the bread is cooking, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter in a small pan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Finish the Garlic Bread:

Once the bread is cooked, brush the garlic butter over the warm bread. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
