Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a standard sheet pan with parchment paper or a silpat.
Sauté Vegetables:
In a skillet, sauté the onion and bell pepper in a couple of drizzles of olive oil. Season with 1 tsp of Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and black pepper to taste. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are softened and fragrant.
Prepare the Dough:
On a clean surface, press the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12 x 16 inches in size.
Assemble the Stromboli:
Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese onto the dough.
Arrange the chopped grilled steak over the cheese, then add the sautéed onion and bell pepper mixture.
Drizzle with ⅓ cup of Parmesan-Peppercorn dressing, and top with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
Roll and Seal:
Carefully roll the dough into a log, ensuring the filling stays inside. Pinch the edges to seal the stromboli.
Brush with Butter:
Brush the top of the rolled stromboli with the melted butter. Sprinkle with the remaining ½ tsp of Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake:
Place the stromboli on the prepared sheet pan and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Allow the stromboli to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
