Moist Orange Cake with Chocolate Chips

Wash the orange thoroughly and zest it.

Juice the orange and set aside.

Make the Batter:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the orange zest, juice, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until smooth.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Bake the Cake:

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool before slicing.
