Melt-in-Your-Mouth Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers

Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Cabbage Base:
Arrange cabbage slices flat on the baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 10 minutes until slightly softened.

Make the Burger Patties:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, grated garlic, green onion, parsley, red chili flakes, salt, pepper, and half the shredded cheese. Mix well and shape into four equal patties.

Assemble the Cabbage Burgers:
Remove the cabbage from the oven. On each cabbage slice, layer a spoonful of tomato sauce, a beef patty, and a sprinkle of the remaining cheese.

Final Bake:
Return to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the patties are fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve Hot:
Carefully transfer the cabbage burgers to plates. Garnish with extra parsley if desired, and enjoy immediately.
