Melt-in-Your-Mouth Dream Cake: Easy, Delicious, and Affordable!

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch (20 cm) round cake pan with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and frothy. This should take about 3-4 minutes.
Gradually add the vegetable oil and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
Pour in the milk and mix well.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix to maintain the cake’s light texture.
Step 2: Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 3: Prepare the Frosting
In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar (if using), and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
Be careful not to overwhip, or the cream will turn into butter.
Step 4: Assemble the Cake
Once the cake is completely cooled, spread the whipped cream frosting evenly over the top.
Optionally, dust with a little powdered sugar or decorate with fresh berries for a pop of color.
