Mediterranean Grilled Cheese Sandwich: A Flavorful Twist on the Classic

Brush one side of each slice of bread with olive oil or spread with butter. This will be the outer layer for a golden, crispy finish.
Assemble the Sandwich:

On the unbuttered side of two bread slices, layer the mozzarella (or provolone) cheese, followed by crumbled feta, sun-dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and fresh spinach leaves.
Sprinkle with dried oregano, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Top each sandwich with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
Grill the Sandwich:

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Gently press with a spatula to ensure even grilling until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve and Enjoy:

Once grilled to perfection, let the sandwiches cool slightly before slicing in half. Serve with a side of hummus, tzatziki, or a refreshing cucumber salad for a full Mediterranean-inspired meal.
