Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole: The Ultimate Comfort Dish

Preheat the Oven – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the Meat – In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
Combine with Sauce – Stir in the pizza sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Mix in the Pasta – Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the meat mixture and stir until well combined.
Layer the Casserole – Transfer the meat and pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
Bake – Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
Serve – Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
