Combine the ingredients: Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and serve: Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
