Lemon Crinkle Cookies


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Cream Butter and Sugar:
In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Egg and Lemon:
Beat in the egg, lemon juice, and lemon zest, mixing until well combined.

Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Form the Cookies:
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and then roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.

Bake the Cookies:
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops begin to crack.

Cool and Enjoy:
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
