Cook the quinoa:
In a medium saucepan, add the rinsed quinoa and the dairy-free milk or water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Simmer:
Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed and the quinoa is tender.
Fluff the quinoa:
Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Then, fluff the quinoa with a fork to separate the grains.

Your quinoa is ready to enjoy! Serve it warm as a simple meal, or use it as a base for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
